I come from a graphic design background, so I pay close attention to detail, impact and visual clarity. At the same time, I want to understand the purpose behind a task: Who is it for? What problem should it solve? And how can the idea be implemented in a meaningful way?

How I approach work
Design is more than a polished surface.
Good design needs to be clear, fit the task and work in practice.
I prefer not to jump straight into design. First, I want to understand what the task needs to achieve, which information matters and what the final use requires.
From there, I make decisions about structure, content, imagery and execution. Not everything needs to be eye-catching, but every choice should have a reason.
Impact
Consider design in its context rather than in isolation.
Function
Make sure a solution works in practice as well as looking good.
Attention to detail
Check the details and refine the work until the result is genuinely finished.
